GOSPEL (GOOD NEWS)

People often say nothing in life is free. However, God’s gift of salvation is free if you are willing to accept it.

Did you realize you are a sinner?

Romans 3:23 states, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Everyone is born a sinner.  No matter how good you try to be you will always fall short of God’s glory.

Did you know God has a gift for you?

Romans 6:23 states, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  It does not matter what type of sin it is. The penalty is death. However, if you repent and ask for forgiveness of your sin, you can have the gift of eternal life. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Being a good person or doing good works will not get you to heaven. It is believing by faith and accepting His gift of salvation for yourself.

Christ died for you.

Romans 5:8 states, “But God comemendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” We are all sinners and deserve eternal death. Nevertheless, Christ died for you, so you can have eternal life.

God loves you.

John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Your age, race, or background does not matter to God. He loves you and wants a relationship with you.

Pray and ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior.

Romans 10:13 states, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave so that you can have eternal life in heaven? If you have never asked Jesus Christ to be your personal Savior, make today the day and pray:

Lord, I believe you died for my sins and rose again from the dead. I know that I am a sinner. I’m asking you to forgive me of my sins and be my personal Savior. I accept you into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Amen.
