ABOUT OUR LOGO

1. Empty Cross - Symbolizes the salvation of Jesus Christ through death, burial, and resurrection according to the Scriptures (I Cor. 15:1-4)

2. 'Oha (bud of taro corm) - This particular leaf represents the idea of family. The Hawaiian word for family is 'ohana which originates from the 'oha or taro plant. In the book of Acts, we are told that the first century Christians continued "daily with one accord in the temple" (Acts 2:46). PBC is providing the means for the body of believers to come together to meet on a regular weekly basis unto the Lord's return

3. Leaf's Veins - The veins on the leaf also epitomize in the Hawaiian culture the growing, developing, and nurturing of the plant, and thus in the same manner, the body of believers are being discipled to carry out the great commission of Matthew 28.
